Summary:

The opioid issues around prescribing, misuse and abuse are an urgent challenge facing multiple healthcare stakeholders.  In this session we will discuss the issues facing consumers understanding their options in managing pain and why alternatives to non-opioid therapies is not always available.  The session will highlight policy solutions to address opioid addiction by increasing access to and utilization of the wide array of non-opioid pain management approaches.
