About the event

The opioid epidemic presents a unique challenge to the entire health care ecosystem that must be handled through system-wide strategy, clinician buy-in, and expanded access to behavioral health, MAT (medication assisted therapies) treatment options, and alternative pain management offerings. Clinical leaders at hospitals and health systems across the country are implementing system-wide initiatives to address the opioid epidemic.

Eager to share what's working, and what's not, these leaders are gathering this February to discuss organizational policies, protocols, and programs being deployed, opportunities for more effective use of PDMPs and data analytics to monitor patient and prescriber behaviors, partnerships being formed with stakeholders across the care continuum and community, alternative pain management therapies becoming available, and treatment options and recovery efforts that are working to address opioid dependence and Opioid Use Disorder.

This summit will also provide the unique opportunity for prescribers, payers, treatment providers, and other involved stakeholders to exchange ideas, best practices, and success stories for alternative pain management therapies, substance abuse issues, and behavioral health treatments.
